Strange Starts The Season With A Bang!!!!

Piedmont, SC (March 10, 2004) - Ronnie Strange from Taylors, S.C. headed to The Carolina Coalition race this weekend with rain in the forecast and was the last man standing at THE ROCK.  He went 10 grueling rounds to take out Stephen Hammonds from Shannon. S.C. in his 91 Mustang.  Congratulations to The Strange Racing Team.  At Greer Dragway, Turtle Brannon and Jamie Southards started the season off with their winning ways with Turtle defeating Doug Taylor from Laurens, S.C. in the Pro division.  Jamie, who has already tasted some success this season finishing in the semis at Darlington on Saturday and was still in the show on Sunday when the race was shortened, paired up against Ronnie Forrester in the final taking home the paycheck.  Mike Farmer finished the night in the 3rd spot hoping to move up the Ladder next week.  Congratulations to all the winners and runner-ups.
