Greer, SC (April 17, 2005) - Track Rescue had all of the members from last year return along with adding some new equipment. This year we have added to the fleet with a mini-rescue pumper: it is equipped with a 400 gallon water tank, 250 gallon a minute pump, 2-500 watt scene lights, fire hose & nozzles, portable fire extinguishers and also the JAWS OF LIFE (extrication equipment).  The ambulance that we used last year is still being used and it also is equipped with portable extinguishers in the case of  more than one accident scene.  We have also added an ATV unit (thanks to Cycle Specialties) that is used for towing, quick response on the track and in the pits and general duties such as inspecting the track.  The ATV is equipped with portable fire extinguishers and medical kit.
