History: Began bracket racing in 1979, still in high school.
Began racing IHRA Super Rod in 1994. Finished in the Top 10 of IHRA Super
Rod from 1996 thru 1999. Finished 2nd in the World Points for Super Rod Championship
in 1996.
Hero:
Not really a hero, but I really liked Lee Shepard.
Most
Memorable Moment in Drag Racing: While on the IHRA circuit in 1996, I
had 3 runner-ups in a row going into the World Nationals in Norwalk, Ohio.
At the World Nationals, I qualified No. 1 and then went on to win that
race. I also took over the No. 1 spot in the points chase after winning
that race.
